This place is nice. The live music and seating set up were both fantastic. I didn’t eat anything so can’t speak to the food but the drinks were terrible. So terrible we had to return our drinks. If you like listening to jazz and want a cool atmosphere this place works.
Amazing and unique food, drinks and atmosphere! We loved it!
Food was good, service was great, and live jazz brought it all together!
This restaurant is ALWAYS a delight. Just such a great club to have in town. We love live music, and the jazz that they bring in to perform and entertain you is authentic, full of talent, and you can see how passionate the artists are. Beyond that, the owner is always around and does a great job in checking in with her patrons. The service is impeccable. I cannot stress that enough. Our waiter and sommelier were both SO attentive and helpful. I would recommend this supper club to absolutely everyone.
This was our first time at Nocturne. The music and ambiance were excellent. I love the setting in an old industrial building with a classy set-up and lighting. The food was excellent but pricey as were the drinks. The service was impeccable. We had a great evening!
All of the Nocturne folks are terrific. Fom the owners’ personal service, the beverages and amazing food to the outstanding wait staff, this is one of our favorite spots, especially for out-of-town guests. The Pete Sommers Quartet was terrific !
The wait was extremely long. Once seated, we really enjoyed the food & service.
Wow! Incredible food. Incredible music. Terrific restaurant / club design. A must!
Food and music were amazing. The cocktails were the bees’ knees!
Excellent food and drink, and very fun atmosphere. We were a little close to the band, so was a bit difficult to talk over. But we came for the music which was great!
Excellent food, wine was 1/2 price (wed special) and the jazz music was superb. Could not have had a finer evening.
Great food great atmosphere! You can really see/taste the care they put into the whole experience.
This place was amazing. A good friend and I were trying to just enjoy Denver, and I wanted to expose him to jazz. Well, I did. He had never gone to a jazz concert, so it was a first. I’m guessing he’ll have seconds. I won’t even mention the halibut. For how do you describe a masterpiece of cooking?
Wonderful service, the music was extraordinary! Food.. wow, really surprised me for a jazz club. The flavors were fantastic, the fries are fantastic!
Perfect venue to enjoy a nice evening and awesome music. Tasting menu is perfect for a nice surprise every dish along the way
This place is an absolute gem. Will become a regular.
I thought that this place was a great time. The service was great, drinks were delicious food was delicious. I have one complaint, that was that I went on a Saturday and saw on my bill that there was a Saturday artist fee of $11 per person. I was not told about this over the phone, online, or when arriving. That should be disclosed to people. Aside from that would recommend to anyone. Great date spot.
Excellent food and great jazz. Interesting menu but the drinks were very creative.
Excellent, friendly service, creative food and drink menu, well-prepared dishes and good music. Went there and had the Tasting Menu. Highly recommended!
For a music venue, the food continues to be really good. An excellent selection of small plates, entrees, wines and cocktails.
Nice find in Denver for live music and food for the old-time jazz supper club feel. Not a bad seat in the house!
My wife and I had an amazing experience we listened to delightful music and had amazing deserts it was such a lovely evening.
Celebrated our 2 year anniversary here. Amazing food and service. Music was great as well. Highly recommend!!
Absolutely amazing food , atmosphere and the cocktails are to die for !!!!
Very disappointing. We expected to have dinner and were given a bar table, which was about 15 inches by 8 inches, and very restricting. Food was expensive. Music was repetitive, but I guess we just don't like that kind of jazz.
The jazz was amazing! Love our server, Marisa, was incredible and very helpful with all our questions. We loved everything, but the bison meatballs. They were not as favorable as everything else. The sommelier is awesome and very knowledgeable.
We came in just for drinks to celebrate my husband's birthday. They gave us all a free glass of champagne plus a little ice cream treat for him. I feel like we got more freebies than drinks we actually paid for! Plus the waitress was incredibly sweet when the drink I ordered was not how she had described it, so she brought over a shot of the missing ingredient! The jazz was great and we love the ambiance at Nocturne.
This was our second time dining at Nocturne and we remain blown away by their combination of really good food, awesome ambiance and top level jazz entertainment. The owner Scott is as personable and available as his high quality staff to the point of remembering our son’s name and that he is a jazz drummer with an amateur group in Seattle. The club looks like what you hope a Jazz club will look like super cool reeking of taste and style. The food was a pleasant surprise as the menu is small but nicely varied and the prepared dishes are innovative without being pretentious. I would go back to this restaurant just for the food which is not, in my experience, often the case with Jazz restaurants. If you’re living in or visiting Denver and love Jazz Nocturne is a must visit. Oh I forgot the wait staff is very attentive without being overbearing and try the Tasting menu a five course pre fixe where the chef let’s out his considerable skill.
Great! My date knows a lot about jazz music and he was impressed. I enjoyed it too.
I spent several years in the hospitality industry and would put the quality of food, service and ambience against any of the finest hotels, restaurants or clubs I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Service here is perfect— friendly, seamless with spotless tableware and glasses. The music is so wonderful with musicians paid equitably for their considerable talent. The performances pair expertly with a top tier mixology scene and menu crafted by an innovative chef using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Nocturne is where we choose to spend all of our special occasions and you should too!
What an amazing experience! Our food was cooked to perfection, the server was so quick and attentive, and the band was great!
First time at Nocturne, amazing time we will definitely be back!
This was my first visit to Nocturne. My date and I went there because they had a live jazz band playing. The band was outstanding, our seats were very close to the stage, but the volume of the music was not overwhelming. By the looks of it most of the seating has a great view of the stage. Nocturne has a very cozy feel to it, especially after sundown. Pricing was reasonable even with the extra fee for live performance. We each had 2 cocktails and dinner entrees which totaled to around $135.
Great music, good service. We were unhappy with the fact that there was 1 chardonnay on the menu by the glass and it was $20. also, when we ordered dessert we were told that some of the components of the dessert were not available. For that, we were told that it would be free. The bill arrived with a charge.
Nocturne has a really thoughtful aesthetic with tables overlooking the music, the curtained entrance, curved high bar seating, and lower booths. It’s a beautiful atmosphere to take in. Bison meatballs were excellent. Old Fashioned and sparkly cocktails were perfectly done. The host, server and management were all lovely—friendly and welcoming. Great jazz, happy and receptive crowd. Can’t lose!
One of my favorite date nights ever! Wonderful service, food and music. I would go back regularly. We had such a memorable night, one I will never forget!
What they called Ceviche, was not but it was good. We also ordered mussels & they were awful! They were mushy & tasted like fish sauce. Overall it was very overpriced for drinks & food. The jazz band was ok, but have heard much better.
The waitress and servers were professional; knowledgeable and made our experience very special.
Had. a wonderful night celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday at Nocturne. Loved the food & music and felt very trendy 😊
The atmosphere is very trendy but with a traditional old-supper club feel. The dining area was intimate with focus on the live music. Enjoyed the jazz and the food immensely. The pricing seemed a little on the higher end, but in comparison, price is comparable to a concert and dinner at different venues. Very relaxed and the food was creative and fun. You will remember your night at Nocturne.
