- PPeggyGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I had dinner with another couple on Halloween night at Johnny's Tavern. The restaurant was busy with staff in costume and in a playful mood. Service was EXCELLENT. Drinks were excellent, including a seasonal (pumpkin spiced) cocktail called, The Crone. My partner and I shared the Beet Salad appetizer (delicious) and a good thing because the portion was huge. Our friends enjoyed the French Onion Soup. Entrees included Mushroom Rigatoni, a perfect pasta dish (really looking forward to leftovers tomorrow), Fried Chicken, the Barramundi (sea bass) and the Seafood Spinach Risotto (scallops). It was a fun night out with friends with great food in a friendly atmosphere! We look forward to going back to Johnny's soon!More infoJohnny's TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Amherst•4.6
- CCharlesNew Hampshire •77 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 7, 2024We would be passing through Northampton around dinner time, so I consulted OpenTable for a good place to eat. We really enjoyed the sushi at Osaka Northampton; the fish was very good, and the preparation simple, just right. The price was comparable to other sushi restaurants we have enjoyed. When we're back in Northampton, we'll strongly consider returning to Osaka Northampton.More infoOsaka NorthamptonPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Northampton•4.4
- DDanielNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 5, 2024I’ve been to 30 Boltwood before and I am a fan, so my review may be somewhat biased. This time was for Brunch with my wife’s family who were visiting from out of town. Food was excellent (I had the Turkish Eggs), atmosphere was quiet and comfortable (10:00 AM is a sweet spot for Brunch on a Saturday between the early and late morning rushes). We were seated and helped right away. The only ding on this trip is that once the other tables started to arrive, we were forgotten about. I had to wave down a server for refills on water and coffee, and once again for the check. Not too bad - I think they might have just been caught a little understaffed at that particular time. I would still highly recommend this restaurant.More info30 Boltwood - Inn on BoltwoodPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Amherst•4.6
