- OTOpenTable DinerUpstate New York •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoOur first time eating at a Ruth’s Chris. The food was all outstanding. We ordered from the prix fixe menu. It could have been clearer, we were expecting to receive a small amount of both side dishes that were listed on the prix fixe, as it did not say “creamed spinach OR mashed potatoes” it simply listed both sides with a slash (/) through them which we interpreted to mean both. Not a big deal, just something to note. Also the server, while very sweet, seemed a bit timid & uncomfortable. She spoke quickly and quietly and while neither of us have hearing issues, she was hard to understand & the communication could have been a bit better. Also, when she was packing up our leftover food, she dropped some of it onto the tray and then proceeded to pick it up and put it into the bowl. I guess our facial expressions indicated shock so she mentioned that there was a clean napkin on the tray, which blended into the tray as both were black. Accidents do happen but it just seemed strange for that calibre of restaurant. Maybe she was very nervous, I’m not sure. It was our 36th wedding anniversary so while we enjoyed the food very much, the overall experience was a bit out of character for what we had expected. But will definitely go back & try again. Still highly recommended, probably just a new server, I hope.More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - AlbanyPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Albany•4.5
- JBJasonBNew York / Tri-State Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoAmazing food, amazing ambience, it was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s taking me a lot to let the rest of the internet know, when I really feel like hoarding it like Sméagol hoarded the One Ring. Don’t sleep on this place.More infoMezze Bistro + BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Williamstown•4.8
- SSylviVermont •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 23, 2023Thanksgiving Day dinner was our first visit to the Inn, though we live nearby in NYS. Just shame on us because our dinner was a wonderful experience in every way. The menu offerings for Thanksgiving Day, and our meal, were above expectations. The food was excellent, the presentations were “impressive,” and the service friendly and attentive. I can only comment upon our meal and the dining room experience itself because we didn't visit any other areas of the Inn. Overall, it was a wonderful evening spent dining on “fine” food in a friendly and warm atmosphere. We definitely will visit again and look forward to ordering from your complete menu of fine French cuisine. Thank you!More infoThe Four Chimneys InnPrice: Expensive• French• Bennington•4.9
