Williamstown is also served by Peter Pan Bus (800-343-9999) and Bonanza Bus (800-343-9999) companies.
Thank you for acknowledging our anniversary. We very much appreciated your gift of dessert!
Loved our dinner here. Really delicious and creative food. Only wish would be to have more vegetarian options. This is our third visit here and will definitely tell others and come back!
We loved the food! It was so delicious!
Moreover, our waiter was very kind and efficient. Congrats!
This restaurant didn't really hit the mark for us on any level. Food was just okay...overpriced and underwhelming. Think the menu items had potential just not properly executed. We had high hopes based on ratings but disappointed all around.
Why We Returned to Mezze After A Long Absence
We hadn’t eaten at Mezze in years because the menu had emphasized pork dishes. A visitor wanted to take us out recently, however, and when I checked the menu, there were still more pork dishes than I might have liked to see but also a number of vegetarian options plus one steak, one fish, and one poultry. We shared the delicious beet salad and a tasty mushroom dish three ways, and two members of the party enjoyed their beef, while the third found the salmon satisfying, if not outstanding. There is no whole grain bread, but otherwise we have no complaints and will certainly go there again.
A Must Go when in the area
Mezze is favorite for dining in the Southern Vermont/Berkshire region. The menu changes nicely reflecting the season. Food is very fresh and well prepared. Definitely will return.
Very good food, but the service was slow and a little les attentive than we prefer
The restaurant had a limited menu for entrees. The autumn soup with Atlantic char was delicious.
Our favourite place in Williamstown! Food is always great and very creative!
Unusual food well prepared and tasty. Always try to visit when we are in town.
Mezze has been our favorite restaurant in the Berkshires for many, many years. We know we can depend on the most delicious meals, artfully presented and sourced locally.
Our wait person was very professional. The food was delicious and prepared with the freshest ingredients. This place is a gem. Don't miss the experience if you're in the area.
Mezze is astoundingly beautiful, in food and ambience. It is a valued, memorable experience. We had a birthday among us, and our waitress brought our dessert lite with candles. So lovely!
In my view the food is the best in the Williamstown area.
Strange menu,,,,didn’t work
All over the place wl the food
Beautiful room and really nice service but food not particularly good.
Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. The service is good, however there was a rather long lag between courses and right after dessert the wait staff disappeared and it took a while to get our check. The restaurant was maybe 20% full at the time so I am not sure what happened. Regardless, we will back again!
Consistently delicious food in a lovely setting; perfect for a special occasion.
Mezz remains my go-to restaurant in Williamstown. Pleasant and helpful servers, and on this occasion, a nice visit from the bartender during dinner. Probably the best in town. Park up behind the restaurant if you have trouble with walking up steep paths (from the lower lot).
Excellent choice. Good variety, great service, everything cooked to order. Real food.
We've been coming back every time we are in NW Massachusetts for several years. It is elegant yet relaxed. Impeccable service, though it can be busy when there are local events at the college or in North Adams. The food never fails to satisfy our extended foodie family. Make a reservation to be sure you can enjoy this gem when you visit the Berkshires.
Service very poor - slow and inattentive - asked us if we wanted more bread when they hadn’t delivered any in the first place. Then tried to deliver dessert when we hadn’t received any food! Food good but amateur service takes away from fine dining experience. Don’t know if we will be back.
The hen-of the-woods appetizer was truly delicious as was the beet salad. Love the emphasis on local products and produce. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Been coming here for years and it is always a really pleasant experience.
Portions a bit small
Steak and vegetarian meals
Great staff, ambiance, overall experience.
Mezze is always a pleasant experience. The service this visit was excellent. Food was good but not quite up to the standards we've experienced on previous visits.
Mezze is one of our favorite restaurants. A definite stop when we are visiting the Berkshires. Consistently a wonderful dining choice!
Roasted Hen o the woods mushrooms...sooooo goood!!
The menu was a bit limited. The meal took way longer than felt comfortable- there was a lot of waiting around and not a big group or complicated order. We had 1 appetizer - a salad - (shared by 2/3 people). Waited uncomfortably long for our entrees to arrive. None of the servers seemed to notice. Food was quite good, but the long wait really put a damper on the experience. The room was also rather loud.
I have always enjoyed our visit to Mezze in the past, but the latest visit proved to be a big disappointment. Perhaps the chef has changed, but what used to be the most creative and beutiful presentation of the dishes were no longer, the grilled pork was barely tasty, the huge chunk of field lettuce served whole required my cutting with a knife in order to make it bite size, and the pasta was just ordinary. There was nothing appealing on the dessert menu so we opted to go elsewhere. How sad....
We had our best meal in the Berkshires at Mezze Bistro. The setting is lovely and the service excellent.
Our appetizers of tomatoes and burrata and roasted mushrooms were delicious and our main courses of salmon and pasta were well-done.
Awesome as always !
Outstanding farm to table. Delicious vegetarian options. Friendly service
The food was amazing and we had a bottle of wine that is now my favorite- ever!
We enjoyed our dinner so much that we went back a second time. The farm to table menu, decor and attentive service made this restaurant a must return on our next trip to the area.
I have been to many restaurants where the chef’s ambition did not equal their skills. This was not such a place. Everything, from the cocktail, snacks, appetizers, entrées and desserts were right on point. My boyfriend and I were visiting Williamstown, and found this place by chance. The craft cocktails were refreshing and unique. Sriracha fried chick peas were a surprising mix of crispy flavor and heat. The heritage tomato and summer cucumber salads were a blissful celebration of these summer vegetables. Our entrées, the chicken confit and flank steak, with creative sides featuring excellent local ingredients, were marvelous, and more importantly, of a size that both left us satisfied, and with room for dessert. Neither of us was “sad-full.” This was fortunate, because we were able to enjoy the chess cake, and the Eaton Mess, a unique confection featuring fresh peaches and creamy dairy. They, and some fine Barrington coffee, wrapped up our meal. I wholeheartedly encourage you who might be in this neighborhood, to try this place.
There were six of us and a one year old, they supplied a nice hi-chair and we all fit well around the table we were given. The food was excellent we had four different dishes all were good. The service was great and prompt to keep the one year old with something to munch on.From cocktails, wine, dinner, desert and coffee everything was excellent. The menu being of one page was perfect so as the chef could perfect all the dishes offered.
The meal and drinks were excellent. Our only complaint is that we received our apps and dinner in less than one hour. We had been expecting a leisurely dinner and were disappointed at the pace. We nursed our drinks for a while but we wish the dinner had been served at a more leisurely pace.
This place is the bomb. Sriracha chickpeas my world son. I am a vegan and I loved the Lima beans entree as well.
Terrific celebratory dinner!
