Discover Deerfield
Deerfield, Massachusetts is a quaint town known for its proximity to beautiful natural places such as Mount Toby State Forest, the site of 1,269-foot-tall Mount Toby. The community is also home to many family-owned restaurants and pubs that have an Irish theme. These pubs have seasonal ales and stouts that are made locally or imported from Ireland. Pair your favorite with some of their traditional Irish foods, such as potato bread with butter, bacon and cabbage and goody for dessert. The area also has several pizza restaurants where you can try traditional Italian pizzas such as pizza ai quattro formaggi, pizza quattro stagioni or pizza capricciosa. For a different taste, seafood is popular in Deerfield, and you’ll want to try the locally made New England clam chowder.
