- SSarahNew Hampshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe tavern provided a cozy and unique setting for a dinner out, while visiting my daughter at UNH. It was our first time there, but we will definitely return. The Inn is adorable, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! The proximity to the school was also very convenient. I highly recommend!More infoThree Chimneys InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Durham•4.4

- JJudyNew Hampshire •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 1, 2024We had a Wonderful experience at Silver Fountain Inn & Tea Parlor. It was a birthday celebration for my sister. I invited her best friend from infancy (they were 81 years young now) to join us. We had been here a couple of years ago and wanted to go back there again. We were greeted by our server, Gail, and shown to our lace tablecloth table. Deciding on which of the many teas offered was our biggest concern. Our Dutchess high tea was incredible. We throughly enjoyed the hot and steaming corn chowder and we could have stopped there! But no, we continued on with croissants filled with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing, filled home made anadama bread, scones, cookies, gelato, petite fours and pumpkin Whoopie pies. There was no way we could eat all they provided. We were given a box or bag to take home those delicacies we had no room to eat there! All in all it was such a delightful day and I would highly recommend this establishment!More infoSilver Fountain Inn & Tea ParlorPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Dover•4.9

Discover Durham
Situated just northwest of Portsmouth, Durham is a mid-sized New England city that features a wealth of flavors to enjoy. If you wake up ravenous for a delicious meal, stop by a comfortable diner or renovated hotel from the 1600s that specializes in classic breakfast fare. You can also visit an eco-friendly diner that serves breakfast dishes made with eggs and ingredients grown by local farmers. After working up an appetite hiking or fishing near Great Bay, get some sandwiches and salads made with locally sourced ingredients at a diner that was once a train depot or grab a calzone, pizza or Italian wrap at the corner pizzeria. Standard American comfort foods, more traditional Italian fare, and Chinese and Japanese entrées abound as well. Don't forget to grab an ice cream, a smoothie or a whoopie pie for dessert.
