Another terrific dining experrience at Puddle Dock, one of our favorite restaurants in Portsmouth. Service was quick, attentive and good natured. Food was the usual first rate expereince. We like the the menue is full of unusual items. I began with the Straberry Banke Harvest Toast, a small but exceptional combination of roasted asparagus (grown thin and cut into bites), sweet roasted garlic,creamy goat cheese, and a cured egg yolk (my first) drizzled with honey. Visually well done and tasty. I had the duck breast, one of my favoriate main course. My wife had the cottage pie, the stand out feature of which is the rich sauce the beef is cooked in. If you haven't been to Puddle Dock, do yourself a favor. Whether it is the outstanding Yorkshire Pudding app, the salted cod entree, or the many other delightful menu items, the value for the excellent fare and care is all in your favor. Bon appetit.

The Tea Room is so quaint and unusual, it was creatively decorated and had themed rooms. The food and tea were delicious, very fresh and a very nice selection. We will be going back.

We were there celebrating a birthday and everything from the food to the service was exceptional. We love the hospitality and welcoming feeling of this restaurant.
