- AAmandaChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful place! Deserves the good reviews and then some. We were so pleased the first night that we immediately booked again for the next night! Seafood is so fresh as are all of the sides, appetizers etc. I was feeling steak the second eve and the filet was hands down the best I’ve had anywhere and we’ve eaten at top notch restaurants nation wide! It just melted in your mouth. It was end of crab season so we ordered everything we could with crab and again was not disappointed. Service was impeccable and ambience was perfect. If we ever return to Galveston we’ll eat here again more than once! Also the dining on the island is really great but this was our top pick overall after 6 days there and stopping at most of the best places. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.More infoGaido's Seafood RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Galveston•4.6

- KKarenDallas - Fort Worth •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food is fabulous. So fresh. It is so loud it is hard to talk. Prices are too high as well. We are retired and only splurge like this once in a while. If it wasn’t so loud it would have been much more enjoyable. Overall though we enjoyed itMore infoKatie's Seafood HousePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galveston•4.6

Discover Hitchcock
Just southeast of Houston, Hitchcock is a small Gulf Coast town featuring a multitude of seafood, Tex-Mex and other dining options for locals and visitors. You can relax on the patio at a waterfront restaurant that has a rotating menu depending on the season. Tex-Mex favorites as well as alluring cocktails beckon diners to spend an evening at Hitchcock's casual eateries, while a Louisiana-style quick bites diner offers spicy chicken, fluffy biscuits and home-comfort sides. If you're in the mood for Spanish fare, then you'll want to try the queso fuego or popular enchiladas at local Mexican bistros. On the other hand, if you're in the market for a comfortable, homey meal, then order the chicken pot pie or shrimp fettuccine Alfredo at a local American or Italian choice.
