- DDavidvipDetroit / Eastern Michigan •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur second visit to Bar Pigalle was outstanding. Our baked oysters appetizer was excellent. We considered ordering another! The seared mackerel and the duck confit were our entree choices and the were both excellent. Cocktails were fantastic. Both our selections were complex and delicious. We’re looking forward to returning for the winter menu.More infoBar PigallePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Detroit•4.9
- IIngeDetroit / Eastern Michigan •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe were overall very impressed. The restaurant is more on the pricy side but the quality and the tast of the food was (in our opinion worth it). We made one mistake and ordered a cocktail at the bar while we waited for our table. We did not choose a cocktail from the menue. They charged every liquor separate. We ended up paying $68 for a Negroni and a Martini.More infoSexy SteakPrice: Expensive• Steak• Detroit•4.5

Discover Detroit
This metropolis in Eastern Michigan was founded in 1701, and its diverse residents continue to define its dynamic food scene. Although it might not be fancy or originally from Detroit, the Coney Island-style hot dog delivers the hearty working class food that keeps many people in Detroit rolling. Other choices could overwhelm you as you encounter cuisines inspired by the Middle Eastern, Polish, and Greek communities that helped build the city. Detroit is the premiere source in the Midwest for Middle Eastern staples like hummus-stuffed pitas. Downtown you can get a basic breakfast anytime or fancy crepes in old Corktown. The Polish origins of Hamtramck make smoked kielbasa and sauerkraut local favorites, and Greektown serves up authentic Balkan lamb dishes and sweet baklava.
