- AAshleyNew Orleans / Louisiana •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoSunset from the Reading Room in September was spectacular, and the food and service lived up to our expectations. Locally farmed raw Maine oysters were superb, rack of lamb cooked to perfection and tender, even the sides were perfection, not just fillers. All service was thoughtful, timely and understated. There is not, however we enjoyed drinks and oysters at the bar. Wow! The oysters were so fresh and delicious. The drinks were perfect and then we were seated. The food was to die for. There were three of us and we all LOVED our entrees. Waitstaff, ambience and quality of food was excellent overall. I would eat every meal here if I could. Highly recommend!
