We looked forward to this restaurant our entire trip. Everyone around us seemed to enjoy their food. So we could have been a one off. My husband’s risotto tasted like the chef dumped a half a cup of salt on it. And we are from the south! It was almost inedible. He picked the seafood out. He also cut his lip on a chipped wine glass. Also even though the restaurant was thinning out it took 50 minutes to get our food. Our waiter comped two drinks which was nice. My fish special was good but not as good as many other fish specials we have had around town. The atmosphere was spectacular and we had the front table and we did enjoy that. So maybe just an off table but we won’t be back. Too many other great places here.

Food and service were fantastic. Beautiful outside dining area that felt tucked away from a busy street in Bar Harbor. It was our best restaurant experience during our entire week at Bar Harbor.

Beautiful restaurant with an interesting history. The staff were amazing and the owner even came around to chat with guests. I really enjoyed the food and drinks. The oysters were really fresh and on the smaller side (which I prefer). We were full but had to try the desserts we saw pictured online. They did not disappoint!

This was our first night and first restaurant in Bar Harbor on a Sunday and we couldn’t have been happier! Excellent service, delightful ambiance and the food was delicious. My scallops and pork belly special was yummy. Highly recommend.

We sat in the patio which was lovely and quiet. Our drinks, appetizers and entrees were all delicious- we ordered chicken, halibut (special), seafood risotto and salmon and each dish was flavored well and highly enjoyed by our family. Get the sticky toffee pudding!

Do not waste your time or money here. Food was low quality for the money. My Caesar salad was a sad pile of bitter yellow lettuce. My husband’s $38 seafood dish consisted of three shrimp, three muscles, one which not edable and a few chunks of fish. The couple at the table next to us had to return their dish for being overcooked. The staff seemed confused and unhappy. The atmosphere was great but it was not worth it. We were terribly disappointed.
