Discover Rockland, Maine
Life in the town of Rockland, Maine, has revolved around the sea since its early days as a home to shipbuilders and fishing fleets in the 1800's. Today, the dining options in Rockland reflect this coastal tradition. You can crack open a Maine lobster or enjoy a bowl of New England clam chowder while looking out over the Atlantic Ocean from your table. Raw oysters, littleneck clams, and quahogs from a raw bar are also always an option. For seafood with an international flavor, grab some maki or sashimi at a local sushi bar. Or if you're in the mood for some land-based food, the town's sports bars and pubs are great places to enjoy a burger or a pizza with a glass of beer.
