- GGailSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews4.0Dined todayWe were there on a Monday evening and the place was filled. Excellent food. Attentive and friendly service. Interesting old building. 15th floor dining has good view of downtown at night. Rooftop bar and conversation areas have an even better view. Music TOO LOUD; when it was banked down the ambience improved a lot; this is a place that is visually pleasing and conducive to socializing. Some parking lots nearby as well as some street parking.More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6
- HHaleyvipLos Angeles •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIncredible. Very kind staff, great birthday experience. Every dish was beyond. The carrots! The hummus! The fried pita!! The oyster mushrooms - so perfectly spiced. And - the waiter recommended we get the celery root which we hadn’t initially planned — it was the highlight. They were also very allergy accommodating.More infoBavelPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• Downtown•4.8
- JJamieLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my second time at Saffy's and this time I brought the family to share in the experience. The service was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We sat outside on a lovely day in Southern California. The food was excellent. We ordered several appetizers. A great hummus, fantastic falafel, and an amazing cauliflower. The mains were a great smokey shawarma and every type of skewer they made. They were all fantastic. We finished with the Pluot dessert and some classic soft serve, mango being an unexpected hit. I am looking forward to coming back again.More infoSaffy'sPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• East Hollywood•4.8
- BBrittnivipLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI’m basically here every other day at this point, it’s almost a running joke. I love the space, it’s so intimate. The staff is stellar and I always have a good experience with the service. They do their best to accommodate whatever you might need. Each item on the menu I’ve tried is an absolute banger, even as someone who doesn’t like oysters. Can’t recommend this place enough.More infoThe Lonely OysterPrice: Expensive• Oyster Bar• Silver Lake•4.7

Orr server Alex made sure we enjoyed our drinks, food, and ambiance. We loved every sip, bite and minute of our dinner. Thanks so much Alex, Alexis, And Kyle for knowing how to treat your customers and how to make us want to return . Discover Echo Park
This densely populated Los Angeles neighborhood is a family-friendly local spot with great food. As befitting a cosmopolitan city, every ethnic cuisine imaginable is seemingly present and is available in traditional and in more adventurous entrees. Sample a Salvadorian tamale wrapped in a banana leaf or go for the Hongos con Cilantro, a dish featuring mushrooms cooked in onion and cilantro and wrapped in a handmade tortilla. Restaurants specializing in two different cuisines are not uncommon, so you can walk into a place and decide whether you are in the mood for pizza or Cajun; you could simply combine the two and enjoy a slice topped with crawfish and shrimp as well. When it comes to novel cuisine, Echo Park is full of fresh culinary ideas that shouldn't be missed.
