- JJohnDenver / Colorado •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 30, 2024I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, Izakaya Den is one of the best restaurants in Colorado & it’s the BEST sushi spot in Colorado (and many other states). You may ask yourself, but the nearest ocean in about 1300 miles away, don’t fear, Izakaya Den gets its fish flown in EVERY day from 2 fish markets in Japan….Yes Japan! You see, Izakaya Den is owned by 3 brothers, 2 here in Colorado & 1 in Japan. IMO, the brother in Japan has the most important job! From the moment You walk into Izakaya Den, the fresh Bluefin tuna is right to your left in large refrigerators right there for all to see! The food is AWESOME, the service is AWESOME, and the Sushi Chefs behind the Sushi bar are AWESOME!!! If you can’t tell yet, Izakaya Den WILL NOT disappoint. Give it a shot!!!More infoIzakaya DenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Platt Park•4.8
- NNathanvipDenver / Colorado •43 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 28, 2024Great being able to bypass lines to enter at your reservation time on concert days. Staff was super friendly, food was served quickly and was very good. Great place to gear up before the concert, have a filling meal and - use the very underutilized restrooms before the show. Great time will try to do this before every show - we ate on the porch and saw a herd of deer along the ridge too.More infoShip Rock GrillePrice: Moderate• American• Morrison•4.5

Discover Morrison
Though technically a suburb of Denver, Morrison is a world of its own. With its wide-open vistas and renowned mountain trails, the area attracts experienced outdoors enthusiasts as well as vacationing families. After a day of hiking, you'll find plenty of dining options on Bear Creek Avenue, the community's main strip. This street features everything from small cafes to American eateries. For a refreshing taste of history, enjoy some Colorado prickly pear cooler, a nonalcoholic local beverage said to have been a favorite for frontier-era fur traders. To partake in a uniquely Western dining experience, visitors can try Morrison's own "game plate" cuisine, which features fresh elk, buffalo and quail.
