We were a party of 3. The worst thing was 2 of us ordered the same thing but only one of us was left with no food. The third person's dish didn't come till one of us was nearly done eating. Besides that it was a wonderful night out. The burger was delish. The farrow rissotto was surprisingly yummy. The Old Fashioneds were very smooth. The waiter was very apologetic and we'll blame the snafu on the tiny kitchen. More

Discover Bloomingdale/Brookland

The Washington, D.C. area is in the midst of a food revolution; the city earned its first Michelin stars in 2016, and famous restaurateurs are opening up shop in the nation’s capital. Escape the tourists of and visit Brookland, a northeastern neighborhood of D.C. Known as Little Rome because of the Catholic university and the local monasteries, authentic Italian pizza is a must. Representing the country well, restaurants are also perfecting American comfort food dishes like fried chicken and are reinventing old favorites like seared salmon and grits. Head west to the quieter community of Bloomingdale, where brunch is often the main meal of the day. Several restaurants are also taking traditional bar and pub food to the next level for casual nights out.
