   It was a shame that the four top table we were set at had a perfect straight on view of the kitchen and the swinging doors remained cracked/ open all night. It was a constant distraction and the ambiance was interfered with by the light and noise. Utensils needed for the meat and pasta dishes were not automatically provided and had to be asked for. Most important was the food and it was excellent. Having owned and run a restaurant it is about the food!

   The menu hasn't been updated for years. My salad with goat cheese balls wasn't great. The balls had absolutely no flavor. There were maybe three slices of apples and perhaps a hint of some kind of nut - not sure. Our friends' salads were ok. Just not great. Disappointing for $20 per salad. Service excellent!

   We stayed late, after lunch hours had ended, and no one hassled us to move on. It was perfect day and a perfect setting. What's to complain about?

   Wonderful experience! Service, food, drinks... all very good. Very good selection of menu options. Presentation was very appealing. Service was excellent.

   Sorry you never seem to have Stella cold on hand. Thee rest of us drink wine, but one of us prefers Stella (Cold).

   Invited our friends from Nevada here as we always have a great experience. They did not disappoint. Excellent daily omelette as usual. My husband defaulted to the Reuben as it’s his favorite. Our friends loved the Cobb salad and chicken sandwich. But the best of all was one of the best tres leches cake I have had. Excellent service and friendly staff. I love the quiet ambience and it got our friends away from the plaza to see a bit more of Santa Fe.

    I always enjoy lunch at Midtown Bistro. The food is really good and reasonably priced and the servers are very nice and attentive.
