Marlowe’s Historic Saloon and Chophouse opened in 1982. Marlowe's remains one of Denver's most popular gathering spots for lunch, dinner or after work. We pride ourselves on being locally owned and operated and feel a commitment to our community and a responsibility to create a pleasant environment for all of our guests and wonderful staff. Marlowe's has worked diligently to provide quality service, food and beverages at reasonable prices. Our wonderful staff will guide you through your experience with wine selections, recommendations and answers to all of your questions.     Sorry to see Marlowe's Close after this weekend. It has always been a great spot to go in Denver

    Photos were very misleading. Place was very loud and not upscale. Thought I was booking an upscale restaurant. Noted it was a college graduation celebration on reservation and nothing special was done. Hoped for dessert or something.

    Always have enjoyed Marlowe's. Tough to see it close down. Had to go one more time. Had a good time as usual although you could tell it was spinning down to its up coming closure.

    Great place to go before any event especially at the Paramount Theater since it's right next door. Good food & they accommodated us on the timing.

    Great place for dinner on the 16th Street Mall. The food was delicious. I had the sirloin which melts in your mouth and my wife had yhe chicken which was also excellent. The only bad thing about Marlowe's is that it is closing near the end of December 2018.

    We stopped in for a quick burger before our show at the Paramount. Everything was good. I especially like that we don’t need to shout to be heard

    We arrived with reservations, and after being seated remarked to one another how the hostess and server were both low key, unsmiling, did not introduce themselves and had to be asked their names. Shortly after, a new server introduced herself (BRAVO) . SERVICE WAS SLOW, two in our party were served stale soda and had to wait 20 minutes for replacements. The food was excellent, and the bar area was very loud and hopping. When we exited the building, there were two homeless people sleeping on the ground just outside the door. We'll be back, never good to judge on a single experience.
