Knickerbocker Bar and Grill
Price: Expensive•Steakhouse•4.8(2,510)We are Open for the Holidays, see site for special menu and hours, but at this time please call for reservation availability.
"The place where New Yorkers eat"
Knickerbocker is known for its great Jazz and its 28 oz. T- Bone Steaks and is a favorite among many celebrities including F. Murray Abraham, Chris Noth and Alec Baldwin. Racheal Ray listed us in her "NYC Favorites" and has praised our Shrimp Cocktail, Creamed Spinach, and of course our T- Bone Steaks.
The word "Knickerbocker" itself, says "New York". Upon entering, you’ll know you're in the Village. Its wood paneled walls sport rare turn of the century posters and original caricatures by Al Hirschfeld. Large leather booths line the walls and brass rails accent the 100 year old marble bar, where Charles Lindbergh signed his Trans Atlantic contract.
We have survived the times by using the freshest ingredients from local markets, and offering good solid value and quality.Tokyo Record Bar

Outdoor dining in New York City
See what locals rave about in Greenwich Village
- KKatheVIPNew York City •41 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWanting a celebratory evening, we were not wrong to choose this restaurant, our first time there! Everyone couldn't have been nicer AND we got to take advantage of New York City's restaurant week menu. We were pampered and energized by the delightful vibe the restaurant has. All three courses were beautifully prepared and served by various servers. There seemed to be more than one manager but the one who seated us was observant throughout the evening. He could tell I was not over the top about my cocktail (i made a wrong choice) and brought a replacement one that was absolutely delicious. The highlight of it all was being able to see the bartenders at work behind the bar and in front of a gorgeous HUGE bar mirror. At one point one was stirring two cocktails with one hand and two very long drink stirrers and shaking a drink with the other hand. Very impressive. We will definitely be back to Boucherie when we can!More infoBoucherie - West VillagePrice: Expensive• French• West Village•4.4

The cassoulet in winter is outstanding. Le Gigot is my favorite neighborhood place. It transports me back to wonderful bistros in France. The waiters, many of whom have been there many years, are efficient, caring with impeccable service.More infoLe GigotPrice: Expensive• Provencal• West Village•4.9
