I'm not saying that Maggiano's at the Pavilions is the best Italian restaurant in Denver because there a few others that I have gone to that I loved as much. I'm only saying that Maggiano's is my favorite and I am a first generation Italian who ate pasta, meatballs & sausage 100 times a year for my first 20 years of life. Maggiano's has good pasta. It's always al dente (firm) when I order it and my favorite is the Rigatoni. I ask for the Rigatoni with marinara sauce with a side of meatballs and a side of sausage. I don't have the cheese melted on. I eat it at Maggiano's like I did Grandma's and dear old mom. I had the veal piccata this time which was also excellent. The minestrone soup was also especially good this time. Or maybe I was especially hungry. I eat very light when I have reservations for dinner at Maggiano's. I have not been disappointed yet!
Very disappointed that they discontinued the buy a classic pasta get one for later yet kept the price the same to get a bill for 70$ for pasta is ridiculous I could have gone to Fogo de Chao for a little more and had all you can eat steaks .
I had just arrived in Denver and noticed Maggiano’s was across the street from my hotel. My mom, my nephew, my daughter and I reserved a spot for lunch. Everything was great from the food to the drinks. The waiter was very hands on and his customer service skills were great. He had a few jokes every now and then. He was very entertaining. The food was delicious and the drinks were good.
Great time as always. Food comes out quick and is so delicious.
My wife and I had a very pleasant experience last Sunday. The food was fantastic and our server, Paulie, was exceptional with a great sense of humor which added to the overall experience.
Maggiano's can be counted on to deliver a consistent experience and good food.
We had a party of 10 and chose the family style option. Our waiter was great and the food was delicious as well as plentiful—they replenished often which was wonderful!
We made a reservation for lunch due to conference goers having lunch at the same time. We had a large group and got in quickly and served well and fast. Great food and a good portion for lunch and the price.
Maggiano’s always does a good job!
Always a fun place! Food is consistently good and love the atmosphere ❤️
Great food and family place
Early reservation. Had a show. Waited 20 minutes for table. Obviously not enough staff for volume of patrons. Typical institutional fare.
Our waitress was superb and the food was delicious as always.
My coworkers and I eat here every year when we come to town. The food is always amazing, and the service was great.
Out of town visitors
Mark (our server) was amazing and while the food was great, his high level of customer service put it over the top. We went there for my daughter’s bday and he made it so special. Besides that though he was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu, came around often enough for us not to want for anything, but didn’t hover.
Additionally, I’m low carbing it right now and he was great at offering options for me that wouldn’t derail my diet.
The restaurant is too crowded, the tables are too close, not enough room to get up and walk to the bathroom without bothering others. The food is just average with respect to family Italian. Not really better than lower priced Italian restaurants.
Always a great meal at any Maggiano's, but Tyrell was amazing and made this a night to remember!
Thanks!! Service was great!! Food was delicious!!
The food is always good (and I can even find dishes while doing weight watchers). Our waiter, Zane, was great. The ambiance can’t be beat with the classic decor and Frank Sinatra playing in the background.
Great like always love this place
On New Years Eve we enjoyed a very nice dinner at Maggiano's. The restaurant was fully booked, but they were prepared and fully staffed. We were seated promptly, servers quickly brought the bread basket and water to our table while our drink order was being filled. Our meal was delicious (lasagna), and we had enough time to enjoy our meal without filling rushed. The restaurant was still decorated for the holidays and had a very festive look. It was a great decision to choose Maggiano's that evening.
Our waitress was not very good. She would get mad and flustered every time anyone at the table asked for something. There was a mistake made in the ordering of the food and she got angry swore and did not attend to our table for about 20 minutes afterward. It was very busy as usual for Christmas Eve and she clearly could not handle her job. Christmas Eve at Maggiano's has been a tradition of ours for years and this is the first year that we left disappointed. Hopefully next year will be better.
Usually a favorite holiday pick. The decorations and music get you right in the holiday mood. Be sure to have a reservation to avoid the wait. The meals were are delicious as always but service was not up to par. Took 15 minutes for our server to greet us and by then we were ready to order meals but came out in an odd order. Soup showed up before drinks (and was the wrong soup), then kids drinks, then my salad, by then we asked for water refills and where our wine might be which showed up with our meals. We usually receive a second meal to go but that was not included this time. Kids were eyeing the delicious desserts but decided we better get to our performance as it was taking so long to get the servers attention so skipped the second glass of wine and dessert. Was really early too so not even packed yet. Not sure what happened but put a damper on the holiday event we had been waiting a month for. Hope this was just an off night.
Didn’t have the food I ordered. Had to eat outside my dietary restrictions. The drinks and food took a long time.
Very enjoyable evening. Had tried to get a slightly later reservation than 4:15 but that was what was available. After arriving, seated immediately, lots of empty tables for the next 45 minutes... But still worth it!
Everything was great. Consistently good food and service. We miss the Marco’s special.
We had a wonderful waiter. He truly made the evening.
Service was awesome. Food was perfect. Great value and took home a lot of leftovers
We took out of town friends to dinner to celebrate their anniversary.
Holiday d citations were really nice. Great atmosphere although a bit loud.
Fabulous food, much variety. Ambience was great for the holidays!
Our food was perfectly seasoned. Service was good. Greatly anticipating a return visit.
Love the chicken Piccata!!
My boyfriend’s family was in town to visit and we made a reservation for 5. We showed up 45 min early and they still accommodated us! The food was great and our server Dan was fantastic!
We got there early and we were lucky enough to be seated promptly. Food was perfect quantity was generous, desserts were delicious.
Meat dishes are often overcooked.
Awesome service. Very attentive. Great food. Atmosphere was quiet but that’s because it had just opened for the day.
Maggiano's is always a winner. Despite being jammed as a Saturday night, the team got our food out quickly. Service from San was fantastic!
We love sitting at the bar and sharing a dinner... great food wine and chatter! Thanks!
