801 Chophouse was one of our best steak experiences. My Dad and I went together to celebrate Father's Day and my Dad ordered the Prime Rib and had it grilled at the end to seal in the juices and he said it was one of the best prime ribs he has ever had in 82 years.

Scott was a helpful and attentive server. Great view. We expected a good meal in a lovely location. We wound up with the best steaks, scallops, and shrimp & andouille we've had. Topped off with killer gooey butter cake. Scott helped us pick it all, customizing to perfection. The cocktail he chose for me (gin and basil) perfectly hit on a hot day. I'm picky, and had zero complaints start to finish!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend one of this farm dinner after our four children gifted us the two dinner reservations, which you pay in full before the evening of the dinner. Initially they may seem a little bit expensive, but once you've gone through the experience of eating the food and enjoying the views and witnessing/tasting the immense talent that this Chef has, it is completely worth it.....not to mention what a healthy multi course meal you will be getting! The views were beautiful, and the dishes that you will be served will be unlike anything you've probably ever had. Everything is fresh and almost everything is grown right on Farm. Staff are very knowledgeable about everything that they bring out to the guests and provide a great service. If I could make any suggestions, I would say that it would be a good idea after the guests are seated at their table for the staff to let them know about how long they will wait for the courses to start coming out because we were a little uncertain as the minutes went by when to expect a a server to come by or when our food would come. Once we saw how the "flow" worked, it was perfectly fine, we just weren't sure at the very beginning what to expect. Also the chairs could be a little bit more comfortable because they didn't really have any backs other than one bar across the top and it did get a little bit uncomfortable. I think they could probably find some good chairs that still fit into the farm theme that offer a little bit more comfort and support. Also, a little bit of background music might be kind of nice, since it was very quiet on the farm overall and you had to whisper at the table so as not too impose upon (or eavesdrop on) other conversations happening nearby. And maybe some candles on the tables would also be very nice and romantic. The last suggestion I would have is if they could put a little bit of lighting out in the parking areas, so as not to trip on dirt, rocks, etc.

There is a parking deck one block away on Market Street, between Front Street and Second Street. There is also paid street parking (free after 6:30pm and free all day Sunday).

There is a parking deck one block away on Market Street, between Front Street and Second Street. There is also paid street parking (free after 6:30pm and free all day Sunday).

Our team of 10 had dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was amazing. This place knew the assignment. Proper amount of wait staff, servers and support staff. The Sommelier was very helpful. The food was swoon worthy. They were beyond accommodating for food allergies as we noted them in the reservation in advance. All around dining and food experience was superb! Excellent meal for our 46th wedding anniversary. Jimbo was an awesome server. The roasted oysters were a great starter. Couldn’t have the toasted baguette slices because they weren’t gluten free. Would have loved dipping them in the butter garlic. Schar gluten free baguette would have been great with this. We both had prime rib with was perfect and the fresh corn. Crème Brûlée for dessert was done perfectly. 3rd time here.

We took friends who had never been and it was a perfect evening! They loved it Everyone’s food from the delicious pretzel rolls and cheddar butter to the wine, steaks, swordfish to the dessert were perfection! The truffle pomme frite and the brussels were both amazing also!! Tucker was our server and he did a fabulous job!
