Yet another great addition to the New Haven scene by the team who brought us Barracuda and Te Amo. Excellent food, good drinks menu, and love the patio! (Also loved that when a quick rainstorm moved through, they quickly moved our table underneath the roof by the bar. :) Can't wait to go again and try out more of the menu.

We met up with friends for an evening of catch up and great dining. We shared appetizers of the Haus chips, and Maitai cauliflower. We all agreed the cauliflower was the winning dish! Absolutely delicious, don’t miss this treat! The Haus chips were not fresh and stale. A disappointment. We each tried a different entree. We love them all the coffees rubbed burger, the porky Mac n cheese, and fish and chips. All were delicious. We also enjoyed the assorted beers and mocktails. Lots of food fun! Will return!

drag brunch was so fun!!! We were celebrating 1 year of being together and the Managers sent over some bubbly. So generous. So fun. The queen's were funny and talented and our server was really attentive. But the FOOD was SURPRISINGLY amazing! Sincerely amazing chicken and waffles and lobster Benedict. So happy we have this place for the community in Astoria!!! Keep up the great service!

My friend and I went for early dinner and the food was amazing I been in Mexico so many times and I think Palomas BK is the closest or I could say the better you can get in NY the food taste fresh and the drinks… delicious we had the restaurant week special menu and for the price was a lot of food, the Chamorro and Emoladas you will lick you fingers, the creme brûlée de elote got me speechless, I will give 10/10 to the service they are very friendly and attentive I definitely coming back for more from Palomas BK.

We were able to sit I the garden area which is also air conditioned! Lovely spot for an early dinner before running over to the theater. Two of us has pasta and really enjoyed it. I had the pasta with eggplant which was delicious. It was only "heavy" due to the pasta, but the sauce was very light. My friend had the ravioli which looked fabulous. Weill definitely return.

Service was all men. The kind of men that totally made my date feel uncomfortable. It was very loud and the table they sat us was directly under the restaurant computer so I constantly had these guys over my shoulder bustling and we eventually were moved to another table close to the bathrooms… this is a glorified dive bar. No real hospitality at all

This place was wonderful!! We had a huge party but the staff was so kind and accommodating for us. The service was also really fast. And, of course, the food—it was AMAZING. Everyone was super happy. The plates are a little pricey, but they definitely do not skimp out on portions. If you are looking for a nice place to eat I highly, highly recommend El Conde.

The cocktails and outdoor patio are the stars here. Tbh the tacos were rather unremarkable. Not bad, but really not great. Plantain chips and guac were pretty good though! If you sit outside (which you should, it's so cute)... But make sure you don't sit at the far back corner table. There are mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. My friends and my ankles are covered in mosquito bites now.

Came here for dinner with my family of 3 (including me) and I must say I’m so happy I did. I work in the area and always saw the restaurant while driving. I definitely checked it out on platforms like this as well as Yelp and always said I must try. So I finally got to yesterday for dinner. I believe they have different menus for bunch, lunch and dinner. Would definitely like to come again to try the other menus. But I enjoyed every dish we had yesterday. We ordered the wild mushroom flatbread, my daughter had a regular margarita pizza, the kale salad (delicious), my husband had the burger from the bar menu which he thoroughly enjoyed (making yum sounds with each bite) and I had the special fish which was amazing. My husband also ordered the Mac n cheese which I had a taste of- just delicious. Billy was an amazing waiter. And I can’t wait to return. And oh those dinner rolls were just right! Light, a little crunch and airy. Amazing !
