We just LOVE the Melting Pot. The food is just delicious, particularly the cheese fondue and salad. We took our grandson there with his family for a graduation dinner and everyone had a wonderful time. The waitress was terrific as well.

On this visit (August 2023), I dismayed to learn that the restaurant has done away with the season specials, which used to be the highlight of every meal - I would love to see them bring it back. The menu right now has made several French standards unpleasantly spicy. If I wanted spicy food, I wouldn’t have gone to a French restaurant!

My wife and I drove an hour to Glen Rock Mill Inn primarily because of the reviews. This was our first visit. Service was excellent. Ambience was perfect. We had calamari for starters. I had the shrimp and oyster gumbo (wow) while my wife ordered her usual medium rare filet which arrived just shy of well done. How could this have happened? Yes the offer was made to replace the steak but hey , the mood of the evening was already tarnished. You only have one chance for a first impression

The views are incomparable and the menu varied and inventive. ANTHONY is a professional server of the very best kind -- friendly, helpful and informed. He makes for me a very special AFFOGATO with tiny cups of espresso, ice cream, dark chocolate sauce and fresh-baked biscotti ---- not on the menu ! Last night this capped our perfect meal of cocktails and lobster rolls, with a riverfront view of a glorious evening ..
