Tamayo is a true expression of Chef Richard Sandoval’s deep-rooted love for authentic Mexican cuisine, inspired by his abeula and shaped by his childhood in Mexico City. Since 2001, Tamayo has acted as both as a geographical cornerstone of Larimer Square, but also a metaphorical one for Chef Richard. With its history and legacy, Tamayo stands alone, but also acts as a creative incubator for new techniques and campaigns that have reached the world in Chef Sandoval’s locations.
