Le Bilboquet - Dallas
Excellent as always! Our services was awesome, food was fantastic.
Great brunch/ lunch!
Birthday celebration for a girlfriend. It is an excellent place to celebrate because they bring you a sparkler on your delicious chocolate mousse. We always get the Cajun chicken lunch special... it can’t be beat!
I have been there before and could not wait to come back. However, the food was a huge disappointment.
Another great meal. I had the red snapper special which was excellent. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food.
Went for late lunch. Dinner is probably a different experience. Staff was very focused on prepping for dinner, service minimum, food mediocre. Had lunch Cajun chicken. Incredibly salty, daughters salad didn’t have dressing n mine had a lot. Husbands salmon sandwich was good but soft, no outer crisp. Confused by experience since reviews so good. Confused by it being French food? Lunch menu seemed standard.
Christmas Eve Lunch! So fun and festive! Love this place!
It was a disappointing experience. We made a reservation, and while there were many open tables, they sat us right next to the kitchen and under the speakers for the music. It was very difficult to have a conversation since the music was so loud. One member of the party ordered liver, which was so overcooked, it couldn’t be cut with the knife. The lobster pasta was sticky and gummy. Frankly, there are far too many good restaurants in Dallas to waste time on a restaurant with lackluster food. There are several really good restaurants around this place, so I would recommend one of those. over Bilboquet. I was entertaining guests from out of town, and we all agreed it was a very poor dining experience.
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. Stephan is an exceptional restauranteur. I highly recomend this restaurant.
Food was very bland, dry and boring. Our server was super nice but overall the service was terrible. They gave us bread but no plates and no wine list. We had to ask them to bring everything. Pretty shocked on how poor the service was for high end restaurant.
Busy time of year yet the service was still excellent. The escargot was delicious and a filet also outstanding. Great experience
The patio was cold and we were by the door so that was tough
Excellent every time.
Long one of my go to restaurants in Dallas. Le Bilboquet never disappoints! One feels like part of the family.
Le Bilboquet remains one of the best restaurants in Dallas. Great menu with numerous options, excellent daily special, really nice wine list, and superb service - and just a fun, dining experience. Very consistent each time we have been there. And they also have a lovely Sunday brunch. Worth the drive. Special evening
I usually eat dinner there and this was my first time for lunch in a while. The waiter announced that he couldn't give us the fish special for another 15 minutes and wasn't particularly attentive the rest of the meal. I ordered the same chicken dish I have for dinner and had to look for it buried underneath the sides.
My first time and RESTURANT lived up to its reputation. Highly recommend. One wish is that FRENCH wine menu be a little broader both in price and inventory
We love EVERYTHING, the staff, food, ambiance. Our go to!
Great. Location, food, service!
Brunch is just wonderful!
We were celebrating with our children. The waiter noticed and was so friendly. He brought us a celebratory dessert. It was a magical evening!
Great place to celebrate! They do it up right if it is your birthday. The cheeseburger and the chicken with burr blanc were both delicious. The service is amazing.
Cuisine excellent! Main dink
H room preferred to patio which can be chilly in winter mad noisy
Feels like an evening in Paris. Lovely restaurant with wonderful menu
Just an all around bad experience!
This restaurant just needs to go ahead and become an event venue because all they cater to is large parties. Heaven forbid you would eat there as a party of two!
Because of all the large parties, the noise level is unbearable and you can’t even hear yourself think, much less carry on a conversation.
The hostess was extremely rude when we expressed concerns about sitting near the noisy large party-in fact, she just walked off!
The service was slow, the menu is limited and honestly the food isn’t anything to get excited over especially for the price?
Spent $150 (at lunch!) on mediocre food, slow service and an atmosphere where you had to yell to carry on a conversation.
Do yourself a BIG favor and spend your dining dollars elsewhere!
First time I had been here. Quaint little spot. Thought the food was overpriced honestly for how much you get and the general quality. Service was great though as Teresa, our server, was wonderful. Always amazed at these places how they tout a great chef and he is really good, but the servings are items you often see on other menus, and they are extremely overpriced. Somehow the "top chef" is supposed to cook it better than someone else. Felt like we could have seen more creativity here. Best things on menu we had were the goat cheese and pears on one of our salads. Salmon was cooked well though and was a thick cut which was nice.
Noise from speakers was intolerable but the manager liked it so we lost.

Best burger and fries in town!
Not too shabby lemon shortbread as well.
Le Bilboquet understands the blend of food, service, and atmosphere. Just superb. The menu is wonderful - and there are always nightly specials. Wonderful wine list and attentive service. Just a wonderful restaurant, among the best in Dallas. Worth the drive.
Reservation was for patio only as inside all booked. It was a bit cool outside, and management worked hard to accommodate by providing an inside table. Service was excellent in addition to the seating situation.
I’ve been there many times and enjoyed it , but this time the service was very poor. After bringing our food, we never saw our server again. After flagging her down to order dessert, she said they were sending out a complimentary birthday dessert. Maybe we wanted an additional dessert? She never asked.
Also, this was at lunch and there was a table of men there who were EXTREMELY loud—-to the point that we had to yell at each other to be heard. By the end of the meal, we were exhausted from it and very annoyed. Maybe someone could have asked them to tone it dow a little.
Absolutely delicious. Great service. Reasonable prices. Easy access
Always a wonderful experience and consistently excellent food.
Great food, service, Pátio was awesome.
Feels like Paris. Came for my dad’s 60th. The manager Ricardo is so cordial and checked on us throughout to ensure we were happy. Left feeling cared for in a way I haven’t felt at other restaurants. Also a perfect brunch spot
Our waiter, who said he is Persian, was exceptional in every way.
Fairly crowded tables! Food was wonderful. Thanks
Loved it! The ambiance and meal were perfect! Will definitely be back.
