Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. Our experience at The Precinct was spot-on with what would be expected from a Jeff Ruby restaurant. The waiter was knowledgeable and very friendly. The wait staff was right there with refills of water and the removal of plates as we finished. I couldn't have been more impressed with the overall service. The food was absolutely delicious. I have a new favorite in the boneless ribeye. It was amazing. I'm very happy with our overall experience and will be back again.
