For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style structure would hold what is now the longest, continuously running fine dining restaurant in the city.Recently named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses by USA Today and Gayot.com, The Precinct is frequently recognized as having Cincinnati’s best steaks, seafood, and service. This consistent, high level of quality and overall guest experience over 4 decades has endeared Precinct to celebrities, business people, families, and loyal diners alike. The Precinct also offers a quaint outdoor patio area where guests may dine.

The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant. Our menu changes often and with the seasons. You can always find our current menu on our website www.theaperturecinci.com.

Ghost Baby ✨ A Vibe You Won’t Forget Late-night magic with the Hubbs—Sotto for dinner, then a moody escape to Ghost Baby (11:45 reservations, because why not?). Jesse Lamb & The Factory set the tone, the cocktails (and THC-infused options!) hit just right, and the staff? Top-tier. The acoustics could use a tweak, but honestly, the ambiance whisks you away to another era. Already planning our next visit. Ghost Baby, let’s talk VIP? 😉

Great dinner overall!! Got the shrimp cocktail (which was yummy), the chopped in the kitchen wedge salad (would have been better with them mixing the salad), the shrimp tempura rolls (which i would rate as average), the 8 oz filet made collinsworth style (was average at best, $21 for collinsworth style was not worth it, would much rather had the bernaisse sauce for $5)… our friends had the wagyu steak barrel cut filet style. The potatoes were terrific! Very good service! Had to ask twice for our leftovers.

We dined at Pepp and Delores late in the evening after a long workday. The food was delicious. We had secured a bar seat when we made our reservations because that was the only option which we didn’t mind. When we arrived, they told us they had availability in the dining room and quickly cleaned a table for us. The food and service was excellent as always. Cannot wait to return again.

We thought Sotto was a great restaurant! We shared a nice bottle of Barbera D’Alba with our dinner. We shared the Goat cheese, hazelnut honey grilled bread as a starter and then the Pappardelle al cinghiale (Wild boar), cappellacci (Short rib) and wood-fired quail. The Wild Boar and Short Rib dishes were excellent and the quail was very good. We ended the meal with one having lemon cello and one having coffee and chocolate budino. All were great. Service was very good. The atmosphere was quite nice and the restaurant was packed.

I have never been to a Jeff Ruby restaurant before but have always wanted to go to the Precinct because of how interesting it looked. I went with family and friends for my Birthday tonight and it was phenomenal. Tucker was our server and he was awesome. Truly made my birthday special and I will be a repeat customer for years to come!
