First time here and to celebrate a birthday. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the piano player adding to the occasion and ambience and the food (we had steak) was perfect. We loved it and will definitely be going back.

Overall the lunch experience was very good. However we had a good view over the Thames but was sat next to a cutlery cupboard. Staff were continually topping up the knives and forks which was very noisy when we were trying to have a chat. Waited a ages for our drinks order. Maybe the cutlery cupboard could be moved.

Reliably good food, not outstanding but always tasty, imaginative, well cooked and well presented. Service very attentive, pleasant, not overbearing. We had the prix fixe as a pre-theatre meal. It was served promptly and good value.

Had an early birthday dinner here and it was lovely.. steak was cooked perfectly and the drinks were great! My only gripe was that I had the garlic prawn starter and there were only 2 prawns! Needed at least 3. I would definitely go back though.

The food as always, was faultless and delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the noise level. It was far too loud to have a decent conversation without having to shout! Otherwise food and service were superb.

We'd booked a table for 5 outside but it wasn't prepared and there were limited options where they could push 2 tables together. They initially said we should go inside, even though we'd specifically booked outside - a few days in advance. We were first put in full sunshine where we'd burn, then finally moved somewhere cooler.
