I recently dined at The Ruxton to celebrate my significant other’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The restaurant emphasizes an elegant atmosphere, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. While the servers seemed a bit busy, they were as attentive as they could be, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the night. The food was truly the highlight. From the chargrilled oysters bursting with flavor to the perfectly cooked 10 oz filet, everything was exquisite. One standout dish was the chicken-fried lobster tails, which were presented beautifully. Though the meal was on the pricier side, the quality and attention to detail made it worth every penny. A particularly memorable moment was how the staff made my significant other feel incredibly special on her birthday, going out of their way to make the night even more memorable. They also handled a small issue I had with great care and professionalism. All in all, I would definitely return and highly recommend The Ruxton for a special occasion. I’d give the experience an 9/10 Easily!

The lemongrass coconut mussels were cooked to perfection! Their Rockefeller Oysters also stole the show! We could’ve stopped there, but decided on the Mahi Mahi which was beautiful blackened and the 8 oz steak (can’t remember the cut) with truffle butter and broccolini left us full and wanting nothing more. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and we truly cannot wait to return!

Wonderful experience from start to finish, as is always the case when we dine at an Atlas Group establishment. Food was marvelously prepared and everyone from the bar tenders to the food runners were polite and friendly.

Beautiful night outside on the patio right on the water. Perfect! Food and service were outstanding. Happy hour pricing on drinks (we had the rye mule and rye old fashioned - both yummy) and half price oysters (also excellent). Had a reservation (highly recommend) so didn’t have to wait. Parking is a bit tight in the lot but there is street parking. Will definitely be back!

The sushi presentation and taste (according to my boyfriend) was excellent. My entree, however, took a lot longer than the sushi. As someone who doesn’t eat seafood, this was the only issue I had with the place. The service for everything else was great, and we’ll definitely visit again!
