Restaurants near St. Paul's Cathedral

I have been to Madison multiple times for casual drinks. This time I went for brunch. The restaurant is beautiful and the waiters inside were very nice, but then after paying, I went to the terrace for a drink and soon after I ordered the waiter asked me to pay with a bad attitude, I had to tell him off and asked him why he was doing that as I had a dinner minutes ago. which I paid for already. His response was that he didn't know that I had food at the restaurant before, either case I told him that it wasn't an excuse to treat me like that. I am a Customer Services Manager and I don't tolerate this kind of discrimination in my company. Very disappointed. As I said before, I have been coming to Madison with friends for years but after this incident, I don't think I will ever come back. It made me feel very unwelcome.

The food was absolutely delicious especially the beef sashimi. Really enjoyed the decor and vibe as out to celebrate daughter's 17th birthday. She loved it. The service was impeccable. Really helpful and friendly waitress who guided choices perfectly.

Lovely food and outstanding service. We had the set menu which was excellent value for money accompanied by a delicious bottle of wine.

This place is impossible to find! Please, Open Table, just say it’s on top of the Pizza Kitchen and can be accessed on the first floor of One New Change. We actually had to phone them to ask for directions. Hence we were cross and stressed when we arrived, which is a shame as our waitress was absolutely lovely and she was wonderful. She even arranged a little birthday gelato for our friend. Great food, though maybe could’ve been a bit hotter, great vibe and great staff. When you finally get there!

Great food and ambience. Service was a bit off but servers were still nice
