Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

    Our first time. We’ve eaten steak all over the area, the state, other states and even other countries. I often have to send my steak back to the kitchen for further cooking, or eat around the edges as I like a perfect medium pink all the way through my fillet. I explained this to our waiter and asked him his advice. He told me exactly how to order my steak and when it came, I cut through it at multiple points, and it was perfect throughout. That has never happened! These folks really know what they’re doing! If you want the perfect steak cooked the perfect way, this is the place to go!

    We’ve eaten at Cafe Napoli many times over the years, but had not been in a while. Everything was excellent. From the service to the wonderfully tasting food was fantastic! It was refreshing to have such great and friendly service just perfectly on everything at the right times.

    Everything was amazing! We had a great lunch. 11 was the perfect time to go as we beat the lunch crowd. Salad was very fresh and pizza was amazing!
