We enjoyed an absolutely lovely Mother’s Day brunch this weekend! Each offering - from amuse bouche to dessert was unique, creative and delicious. The welcome mimosas were a lovely touch! Our server graciously allowed just the right amount of time between courses. We appreciated the chef’s flavor combinations, attention to detail and presentation. We plan to return to Restaurant 301 whenever we visit the area!

Our dining experience with the Rivers Edge Grill during our first night with this visit was fabulous as from the previous trips. I had the deep fried avocado w/sweet chili aioli sauce as an appetizer and perfectly grilled salmon with risotto. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips which were tender and delicious along with the garlic bread basket that served warmed bread. Our server, Janice, was cordial as before. We had dinner there again on our last night in town: My burger was cooked perfectly in medium, but my husband's burger was overcooked. We received a 20% discount off the bill to make it right, and we were satisfied with that.

The view is amazing, of course. And the meal was excellent. One of the top restaurants in Humboldt County.

Everything was great, except the Fettuccine needed more garlic. Our waiter was fantastic and apologized for the salad being late, and didn’t charge us for one of our desserts. We are new to the area, and are so glad we found Gabriel’s-we will be back!!
