Food was excellent. Crab and shrimp Louie salad and lobster sandwich were quite tasty as worthy complementary pop over with strawberry butter in chicken consume. No need to order appetizers. Service was attentive, especially with the bus staff. One slight negative was that I asked for a table adjacent to the window facing Union Square when I saw several available but was told by my server they were not and that the booth I was given was the closest available at the time. Throughout my entire lunch, no one occupied the empty tables by the window. Not sure what their seating policy -maybe they save it for VIP clients?

We came here in SF for 3 days, and we came to Bodega SF to eat for 3 days in a roll. The beef pho is my definitely favorite , super yummy!

This was my first time dining here, and I was thoroughly impressed - especially thanks to Tania, who made the evening truly special. I was celebrating my partner’s presentation at a conference and Tania picked up on the occasion right away, bringing a warm and thoughtful energy to the entire experience. The tuna tartare was a standout; fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented. Tania recommended an N/A wine that complemented my experience perfectly, and her attention to detail throughout the meal was flawless. Exceptional service, great food, and a genuine sense of hospitality from both management (shout out to Tati, Matthew, and Mike!) and staff. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was fantastic. Meat literally was so tender, it melted in your mouth. The restaurant staff grills the meats at the table, to perfection. The banchan dishes were so tasty, definitely the best I ever had. Service was good. The cost is pricy but with the quality of the food, it is well worth it.
