Once again this restaurant far exceeded my high expectations. The Host began by warmly greeting me and by surprising me in this Special Occasion by allowing me to choose the table of my choice. I choose a table next to a window in the main dining room where the sun wasn't covering. My server Alyson was wonderful taking my order and following-up at the appropriate times. The food was amazing. This restaurant has the largest and juiciest Lobster Tails in the Valley as well as the most tender Filet Mignons.The Fried Calamari appetizer was also up to par and the sauces served with it made it even better. The attention to detail of the Manager on Duty, Garrett, to visit my table to genuinely greet me and thank me for coming is something reserved for the very best restaurants in the industry. The Keylime Pie was sweet and the Grand Finale of the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for those special occasions when you want the very best.

We came here for my dad's birthday and although we were hopeful, our expectations of dining out in Roanoke are always low unless we are at Lucky, Nawab or Bloom. The whole family was thrilled with our table - on the outside deck away from the jazz band (dad is hard of hearing and can't be near speakers), the view was lovely, the service was at the perfect non-rushed and not stressed pace for us so we could enjoy and celebrate, the cocktails were delicious and the food was perfect for each of our different cravings, including the desserts. I feel the restaurant could improve by empowering the servers with more food details and info, especially with what's on the specials/rotating daily items list like the oysters, fish of the day, etc. - having more confidence and ownership of that information would have made us all feel better and as a veteran restaurant server, I understand that having that knowledge before my shift made my performance on the floor that much stronger. That refinement of the experience and the server's ability to speak to different dishes with detail and confidence could elevate Six and Sky to the restaurant it's trying to be - but aside of that our server was kind, responsive, and lovely! Dad had a wonderful birthday dinner, and we all look forward to going back to Six and Sky for a future meal, rooftop drinks, and a great time!

First time having dinner at Lucky, and I hope it won’t be the last. Good location and great ambiance. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding! I recommend the steak and fried chicken. Great sides too. The cocktails were eclectic and tasty. Definitely plan to return.
