We were in NOLA during Mardi Gras, had no dinner reservations and every place was packed. We stumbled upon Fulton St. Bistro in the lobby of the Omni Hotel. It is a new spot. The restaurant manager was our server and treated us like VIPs.

Despite COVID-19, or perhaps due to it we had a wonderful lunch. One of our must “do” locations when we visit New Orleans. The char-broiled oysters were fabulous. We tried Shrimp and Grits as well. They’re gumbo is always good as well as red beans and rice
Some of the best gumbo in New Orleans. Our waiter was fantastic and the bartender helped us decide what to drink off their huge drink list.
We had swordfish(fish of the day), gumbo, and reddish on the half shell. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly
