- DDanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •88 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways one of our favorites. The new location is beautiful. Menu is creative and well executed with many great choices. Drinks are also emu ique and delicious. Staff is very friendly and efficient. my only negative was the shrimp tempura. Previous visits it has not had a crunchy crust. I wasn’t sure if it sat under heat lamps. I asked the server to make sure it was hot and crunchy, and she guaranteed. What came out from a runner was again soft breading (but tender shrimp), which we tore into and realized it was again soft. The server checked in and when we mentioned the texture, commented she wasn’t happy with that since she had specifically called it out to the cooks, and she was going to comp the dish. After we finished the plate, a runner came out with another plate hit and crunchy “on the house”. I appreciate the gesture, but now we were stuffed. I wish the manager had coordinated a bit better and we’d have had room for their amazing desserts. It also creates some breakdown in communication when they use runners to send food to the table instead of the server, who is more aware and focused on what concerns the customer has expressed (potentially including important allergies). If you like crisp tempura, make sure you ask for them to do that. Otherwise, this is an amazing place and we’ll certainly come back next trip.More infoStar NoodlePrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Lahaina•4.7
- JJudyLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe view is incredible . The ambience with live music playing below is amazing . Food is very good and expensive but no more than other fine dining establishments in Maui. Good selection of wines and they offer corkage as long as the wine you're bringing is not on the menu. Prompt service . Good pacing of courses.More infoLeilani's on the Beach - KaanapaliPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Lahaina•4.6
- LLauraSeattle / Eastern Washington •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOnce again a lovely early evening/dinner at Duke’s! We’ve never been disappointed here! This trip to Maui I’ve had both the banana leaf fresh fish and the seafood risotto…both were amazing. My husband had the macadamia nut crusted fresh fish…also delicious. Our waiter Luke was attentive, knowledgeable and took great pics for us but never hovering. Without a doubt, we’ll be back next time we’re on Maui. This place has become one of our very favorite places to dine in the island.More infoDuke's Beach House MauiPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kaanapali•4.7

- SSALLYVIPHawaii •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoSeriously it was our best meal on the island so far. we had early bird special 2 course for $34. I had maji and my husband had Ono. Salad and the potstickers are awesome. Even the carrot which was grilled with kiave wood was incredible. We are going back this week. Drinks are pricey but you are on the ocean! Also our server was very good. Happy all the way around. 😊More infoHula Grill - KaanapaliPrice: Expensive
