L'APPART by AIR FOOD is above all two passionate visionaries, Marc and Thierry. They have come from two completely different paths. One was a contractor in logistics the other a chef in London and Paris. What they both have in common besides the love of good food is the love of street culture. Years ago they met in Paris during a regular sale of shoes at the Place de la République…From this meeting, the pair launched into a collaboration of sharing their passion for food. They started with pop-up restaurants with the aim of offering gastronomic street food to all, from a range of mixed recipes from different cultures and from gastronomic food to street food. Then, they had a brainwave…. Resulting in to transforming their Pop-ups into a real restaurant in downtown LA. From PARIS to LA come and travel with us.;-)

Our service was amazing from the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted by the manager, JR, who was incredibly kind to us. Once seated, we felt very welcomed. He checked in with us several times to make sure we were having a great time, and even brought out a birthday dessert, which we thought was such a sweet gesture. The food and drinks were also amazing everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We absolutely love Perch and had such a lovely time we’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time but I was disappointed in my order. I had the barbecue tofu, I know dumb choice but I like tofu. The dish was really terrible because they put a too sweet terrible tasting barbecue sauce on the tofu. I was really hungry so ate it anyway. But they really need to change the dish. I thought there would be nice greens under the tofu but it was mostly rice in the terrible barbecue sauce. My husband had the GARGANELLI with boar sugo and it was good. We enjoyed the broccolini and the room is beautiful . Just don’t order the barbecued tofu.
