El The George Public House es la reencarnación victoriana de una cafetería del siglo XV. Kintan es el primer restaurante de estilo yakiniku en Londres. We offer a specialist yakitori menu at dinner - skewers of free-range, slow-reared chicken over hot charcoal on our custom-made hibachi - as well as classic izakaya dishes, including miso black cod and tempura, accompanied by a curated selection of wines, Japanese sakes and whiskies. Please note we have a different menu for lunch which features a range of bento boxes and selected a la carte items. Our signature beak-to-tail menu features 17 Yakitori cuts. This set requires 2 working days advance booking, and a 50% deposit. Please book your table, and leave a note at the booking, and our team will respond and confirm accordingly.We do everything we can to manage the smoke from our hibachi. At busy times, the restaurant can occasionally get smoky. If that is a problem, please let your server know so they can move your table and put your items in the cloakroom.

In August 2014 we opened the doors to our shop and bar in the Victorian arches beneath the Holborn Viaduct. There is history here, the site having served as a wine cellar for over 150 years, most recently as Oddbin’s fine wine store.During the day the vaults serve as our office, warehouse and tasting room, as well as shop where the general public can buy our wines. At night it becomes a beautiful, atmospheric, candle-lit wine bar.In the bar we charge £14 corkage on the retail price, except between 12 and 4pm where no corkage is charged. Our list is ever changing, not only showing wines that we import ourselves but also wines that we have tasted and are passionate for, supplied from fellow importers. We also offer a small amount of old Bordeaux, Burgundy, Port and Madeira from our private cellars.
