Wonderful all around. Their date dessert was out of this world.

Out Mothers Day dinner at Fern Bar was perfect! From cocktails, food and service, everything was a 10! Our server, Issac was wonderful; kind, attentive and fully answered all of our questions about dishes. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The server was very nice. The food was good, but unfortunately, not great. The Shrimp Louis Salad had 8 bay shrimp, which having had Shrimp Louis’ at many restaurants in the North Bay would characterize this as more of a starter salad rather than a meal. The French Toast had good flavor and was nicely presented, and the crunchy coating lifted it. But the bread used was a soft bread so the ‘toast’ was a bit mushy. The edges were very good but the center didn’t hold together. Perhaps a more dense bread would have been a choice? The Eggs Benedict were delicious, but because the crap was wet, made the English muffin a little soggy. All in all, good flavors, but, just off the mark for great due to execution.
