When I say EVERYTHING was amazing — I mean EVERYTHING! From the moment I walked into NATIVE in Harlem, I felt like I had stepped into a vibe — not just a restaurant. The ambiance? Immaculate. Afro-chic, cozy, and unapologetically cultured. The service? Top-tier! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff (actually care about your experience. Our server, Destiny, was the BEST. And don’t get me started on the FOOD — flavorful, soulful, creative, and beautifully plated. Every bite was a journey! I’m still thinking about the Escovitch! If you’re looking for a place that embodies the heartbeat of Harlem with global flavors and 5-star energy, NATIVE is IT. Support Black-owned, taste the culture, and come hungry! 10/10. Will absolutely be back. Thanks Nigel for the recommendation!

Drinks and appetizers were great (clam rice was a standout). Salted red snapper and steak au poivre were very good as well. Dante, our server was excellent - service was great without being overbearing. Ambience was nice. We had a great time
