Restaurants near La Vista Blanc by Mammoth Reservation Bureau

What a pleasant surprise. Although the reviews were very good, I still had my suspicions. I mean, it is basically at a campground. The bar was slammed busy and the bartender was terrific. You can eat in the bar and many were doing that. The dining room was white tablecloth with an excellent menu variety. We had the rack of lamb and the halibut special. Both were beautiful pieces of meat and cooked as ordered. We shared a soup and a caesar salad and both were excellent. Finally, we were stunned by the variety and quality of the wine list. It truly was first class. It was not crazy extensive but included 50+ wines from all over the western US wine regions, as well as France and Italy.

Food was delicicious, especially the rigatoni. Cocktails were good. Didn't realize was a Michael Voltaggio restaurant until after I dined there.

Lamb and Pasta was overcooked which was a shame given the price. Service and drinks were great 👍

Stopped by for Happy Hour after arriving at the Monache then went back for dinner. Our server Bobby was excellent. The burgers were delicious. Would not hesitate to go back.

Outstanding service by our serverSophie. Very attentive who made sure that our food/drinks were fully satisfactory. Several of us had the elk medallions and one had duck. All outstanding. Mammoth Rock Brasserie is a hidden gem and the perfect place for a special meal. My wife enjoyed celebrating her 65th birthday last night. Thank you Chef, Sophie and staff for the wonderful evening.
