Restaurants near Kidpower Park, Mission

Dancing Yak is our all-around favorite SF restaurant for seven years. Flavorful food, kid friendly choices (momos, butter chicken, rice), they’re able to modify many dishes to remove cream and milk. The staff is experienced and thoughtful. Plus it’s generally easy to get a table if you arrive early (as we do with a family), or on off-peak nights. The prices are totally reasonable for what you get, I don’t have sticker shock. :)

super cute little local place in the Mission. Creative takes on traditional Taiwanese food. the best dish by far was the pork belly. Was excited to taste the radish cake (luo buo gao) but it was mushy and could have used more mouth feel (a little more texture and bite to radish). THe pig face noodles had great qiu qiu (al dente ness). The wings were also really well fried. All in all, a cute local spot worth a visit. I think once they get their liquor license the bar will have a bit more energy and a vibe.

Food was excellent. We ordered the Ascolane, the insalata, Malloreddus, and the bistecca. The ascolane wasn't super salty as olives can be, the fact that it's stuffed with osso buco and fried sounded amazing, but the flavors were right on. The Malloreddus was delicious and slightly al-dente. The bistecca was tender, flavorful with the mushroom and onion sauce...yum.

The food and service were great! The queso and guac were fantastic. It was pretty dark which made ordering and eating tacos a bit difficult. Some lamps could have made the experience even better!

Very authentic morrocan food!!! Need fo try the whole menu soon!! Tea is also outstanding!
