Tony's has always been the restaurant that we save for special occasions and this was our anniversary. We were seated in the front section of the restaurant across from the bar so I had a view of the bar, TV Screens, and the people coming in and out during our entire meal. Just not the vibe I was hoping for. The staff was busy. Our water came almost immediately and we were told the waiter would be right with us. We were also told our bread service would be right out. 10-15 minutes later, still no waiter and no bread. The assistant noticed and told us he would make sure the bread got ordered and then he must have reminded the server to check on us, because he finally showed up. Got us started with our appetizer and the bread came out during that. The Crab cakes never disappoint. We split the wedge salad with Blue cheese. It was very good and then we had the short ribs and a new Veal dish that was on the special for the evening. We also ordered the Creamed Spinach which is one of our favorites. The entrees were just okay. My wife said part of the veal plate seemed cold, Veal had a layer of fat on it for flavor but there was very gristle around the fat and she had to keep cutting it off. The short ribs were just not as good as I remembered. Very heavy. Too much sauce all over the plate. I could barely find the potatoes. Maybe this restaurant just isn't our vibe anymore. We like a calmer atmosphere.

This was the second time I’ve been here. I brought my friend to celebrate his birthday. The food was delicious , service top notch and atmosphere was fun. Highly recommend this diamond in the rough.

I loved your veal piccata and was disappointed not to see it on the menu . I did not was chicken piccata. I found the menu chicken heavy and ended up getting a Caesar salad with salmon for lack of finding anything else I wanted that day. Would like to see entrees other than chicken or pasta on the menu.
