Al J. Schneider was a true Louisville visionary who was responsible for changing the landscape of Louisville. Mr. Schneider built hotels, schools, banking institutions, office complexes and medical facilities but his greatest achievement was his family. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider had six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. In the Schneider family Sunday dinner was a time when they could all sit around a table and be together. I just ate the best steak I have ever tasted in my life. Our party of four had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional with an old school attention to each. We especially liked the bread, shareable sides, service, and deserts. All around it was an amazing experience.

This restaurant was a recommendation from a manager of another upscale establishment in the area. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, the environment was fun and festive. Live music(!), what a treat for two out of town visitors. This is not a place for a quiet meal, but if you want a lively, fun, delicious experience, this is it. Try something new, go for it! Also, they made you feel welcome here. How often does that happen. My only regret was not trying one of their rum drinks. Don't be me.
