This is a welcome retreat in the hustle and bustle of South Bank. The coffee here is great and the service is always nice.

Limited menu but great steaks for good value and friendly service at this long standing venue under the arches at Waterloo.

We enjoyed the pre-theatre to menu on Saturday  and, as usual, the menu was varied, delicious and good value!

Excellent service, delicious food, wines rather expensive.

Early dinner. We started with cocktails which were very good. The steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare (the Côte de boeuf was excellent). The sticky toffee pudding was one of the best I had for a long time. Very good service. The wine list needs a bit improvement ( the Rioja went down well with the steaks).
