- SShahabSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe steak was amazing, the view was lovely, and the staff was great! I had expected live music in the restaurant, but it turned out to be in a separate room. Still, a fantastic dining experience overall!More infoHumphreys SoCal Dining and MusicPrice: Expensive• American• Point Loma•4.2
- BBobbieSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything was great except the bar area. We like to go early to have drinks before dinner. The noise in the bar area off to the right was atrocious. This was the second time in a row where large groups (approximately 8 to 10) people gathered. They were loud and obnoxious, yelling over each other. Nothing was done to quiet them down. Other patrons in the area were also upset over the noise level. You can’t hear each other talk. After being seated for dinner, however, everything was great!!More infoBali Hai RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Polynesian• Shelter Island / San Diego Bay•4.6
- JJeanSan Diego •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat an AMAZING evening! The service at Cesarina was impeccable. Every person that approached us was warm, friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. From the focaccia to the soup to the pastas and Tiramisu everything was delicious. We enjoyed an early Valentine’s celebration and it was lovely. The ambiance is cozy and warm. I especially loved the little touches of the hot water bottle and blankets to keep us toasty warm. Irish was so friendly, making time to check in on us and share the story of the restaurant. A true gem, can’t wait to return.More infoCesarinaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Ocean Beach•4.8
- MMargueriteLos Angeles •18 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSeneca is the perfect restaurant for a special celebration. I took my good friend there for her birthday and from the moment we were greeted by the smiling hostess until the very end of service, we were treated exceptionally well. The service was extremely professional, yet warm and friendly. The food was phenomenal and we took our time and savored every delicious bite. We never felt rushed, despite it being a very busy night. Our table had a view of San Diego Bay, the airport, and a northwesterly view of the city. It was beautiful. We started with the arancini and scampi, which were both so delicious. We shared two pasta dishes - Cavatelli All Sugo Di Angelo and the Cacio E Pepe. I was a little sad that they changed the style of the Casio E Pepe, it was more like a macaroni & cheese, but was still tasty. The Cavatelli was perfect though! We ordered a dessert and they brought over a complimentary cannoli with a birthday candle for my friend. I highly recommend Seneca to anyone looking for a special place for not only a celebration, but to celebrate a wonderful meal.More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- KKathyLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024We drove to San Diego for Thanksgiving because of the special meal offered. We had reservations, as recommended in the email I received. We were seated quickly, we had a choice of half booth ot table so we chose half booth. We had cocktails before our 1st course, salad or creamy pumpkin soup. We were able to sit comfortably, we were not rushed to eat our appetizer. Our main course was served. Beautiful plate of food was served on square plates. Loved it. The food all over was fantastic: easy to slice ham, moist turkey and stuffing, perfectly cooked green bean casserole, yummy mashed potatoes, crushed cranberries and rolls. By the time we were ready for dessert we were definitely full. What a great meal, and very tasty, you can taste the alcohol cocktails. 5 stars all around.More infoQuarterdeck Restaurant- Bay Club Hotel And MarinaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Shelter Island / San Diego Bay•4.1
