The look outside greets you warmly, as does the staff when you arrive. The food was very good. The homemade pasta was a treat. Arancini was especially good to. I liked the chicken parmesan, it was worthy, but I did not love it (it is a large portion so I should have taken the 1/2 portion when offered). My dinner mates enjoyed the Bronzino and porkchop. We will be back.

I’ve been overcharged lately on almost every bill. I usually don’t pay much attention to the bill, however, I while ago, we had a party of 8 people. I didn’t review the bill in detail until I got home. I noticed that I was charged for an additional meal and appetizers that we didn’t order. After that, I’ve been reviewing my bill, at least 3 out of 5 times I’ve been overcharged. Yesterday again, I was charged for drinks we didn’t order. It only has happened at the Puente Hills location, I doubt that this is a coincidence or a mistake.

The food is amazing! Especially the seaweed salad, the matcha cocktail, the salmon tartar.. absolutely crave worthy! That said, our waitress forgot to bring my friend her cocktail, we waited a long time to cheers to my birthday as a result and then, even knowing it was my birthday kept asking if we were done or wanted to order a desert multiple times instead of just letting us enjoy our conversation or being thoughtful and bringing something as a nod to my birthday and the fact that we waited 20 minutes for the other cocktail to arrive (she probably forgot to order the second one…, it was that delayed). All in all I’d come back but I hope I don’t have that same waitress again. She wasn’t very thoughtful.
