The wait and service staff were very attentive. Several mgmt staff came and checked on me and asked about my food and how I was enjoying myself. The Christmas atmosphere was outstanding! I had the Rainbow Trout and it was out of this world. I paired it with a glass of Cabernet. I would highly recommend having dinner at Six & Sky when in Roanoke, VA for an evening!

Lucky is our favorite spot in Roanoke for a cozy, comforting dinner or craft cocktail at the lovely bar. The service is warm and homey but also efficient and attentive. There are so many wonderful dishes to choose from, but we love the insanely great fried chicken, low-country shrimp and grits, African peanut stew, sweet potatoes bathed in a kimchi-miso glaze and Brussels sprouts--you see? It's impossible to pick a single favorite. The one dish that didn't wow us was the smoked meatloaf, which had the taste and texture of something like kielbasa. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. The bar can make almost anything you want but it's worth trying the specials. One of my faves, occasionally on the special cocktail menu, is their pitch-perfect Vieux Carré. One other tip: the wine-by-the-glass selections are a little sparse, so we like going with a group that is open to sharing food and ordering a bottle of wine or two.

Seated us on time; server was attentive but not overbearing. Order was accurate and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Our server, Gabby, was awesome. Very informed of the menu items and a great personality to boot ! There was an issue with martini’s and they made it right. Unfortunately, for the first half of our seating we were seated along side a large group that was very loud. Not sure if there were places to sit elsewhere for our party of five. When they left, all was well. Food was great. Recommend this place.
