In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

    We had a wonderful lunch before the annual Christmas parade. I had the Asian chicken salad it was delicious and my husband had the monte cristo sandwich. He said it was excellent. Our server was Dora she was great. I also ordered an expresso martini which was so good I decided to order another one. We can’t wait to return.

    The cocktails are very good here. The salmon tacos , shrimp pasta and tuna melt are also great. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Overall nice dining experience.

    We love this place . Food is always delicious and cooked perfectly . We over order every time because we want to taste everything. Last night we got the bone marrow special and it was special ! The sea bass was cooked to buttery perfection and the crust on the lamb made it texturally spectacular. And to finish even though too full for dessert we got the butter cake and it disappeared.

    We were pleasantly surprised! We had booked sight unseen on Open Table, and when we saw the place started worrying it might exceed our budget. The menu alleviated our concerns. Not only was it no more expensive than equivalent restaurants, the majority of offerings were significantly less! The food was fresh and varied, with some really wonderful treatments. I had the half rack of ribs which was falling off the bone tender with a chipotle barbecue sauce. These were the meatiest ribs I have ever had - so much so that I could only eat a little more than half! We’ll be back
