Wonderful as always! Fantastic food, lovely ambiance, beautiful view, easy parking. Had a perfect lunch followed by a walk on the Marina Green!

A very special place with amazing flavors, service and setting. When we asked about gluten-free friendly items, which were not designated on the wide menu, our server was well-informed and very helpful, as she was with responses to our other questions. We made our menu decisions slowly, with sharing in mind. We had the luxury of being able to have appetizers before we chose entrees, so we could gauge how much food we really needed. We never felt any pressure to order quickly nor to order any beverages.

Our server, Ben, was amazing. He seemed to have a 6th sense about when he was needed and when he wasn't. We never felt hovered over or ignored. Considering how busy it always is there, there was minimal wait time for our food. While the tenderness and flavor of the meat cannot be overstated, I'm not a fan of fatty meat. So, I recommend avoiding the Henry the 8th cut unless you are. If you're still hungry after your meal, they can give you a complimentary additional thin slice of meat. But, with the generous portions, salad, and bread, that is unlikely. The desserts are phenomenal. My partner and I shared the Trifle and there is no other word to describe it except scrumptious. The subtly sweet whipped cream, tart berries, and spongy cake all work so well together. It's got Grand Marnier in it, so prepare for a spoonful or two to have a bit more kick. But, that's just how the alcohol settles and there's no helping it. If my wallet (and the restaurant's availability) would allow it, I would eat there every night.

I was craving a good serving of hearty San Francisco Cioppino and Scoma’s did not disappoint! We arrived earlier than our reserved time, so took a few steps up to the bar and enjoyed a beverage courtesy of our endlessly engaging bartender Sean, who made me an absolutely delicious custom cocktail…so good I asked him for another and to write down the recipe! We were having such a nice time, we cancelled our dining reservation so we could instead eat at the bar. When we received our very generous serving of Cioppino, it truly was delicious, with generous helpings of succulent perfectly prepared seafood…the best meal we had while in SF. We can absolutely recommend this destination and this dish without hesitation.

All these years later and they still innovate and deliver a superior experience. Bravo
