Our favorite Santa Fe **restaurant**; we enjoy whenever visiting in town. Last here in October 2021; and the night before our in-**restaurant** reservation, we tried ordering through Uber Eats. They did a great job with the Lobster Salad and Duroc Pork Dumplings. Nothing matches the in-person ambience, though. Love the environment of the subtly lighted and designed outdoor courtyard garden. There is a quiet buzz, and always fun to people-watch. Service from Christopher and Johnny was excellent. They are true professionals: very knowledgable about the food and **Santacafe**. Very friendly and interesting conversation. They explained the Kitchen charge of $4.00 to help the amazing kitchen staff who work short-handed in a small space 90 hours/week, and do an amazing job. Tasty cornbread with We went with Starters: Duroc pork dumplings with tasty sauces were great in-person; Maine Lobster Rolls with salad and Watermelon Radish are always good. Crispy Crab Cakes with saffron Aioli. Golden Beet Soup blended with carrot and roasted fennel, a heavenly mix of root vegetables, garnished with hazelnut powder on crostini and pickled beet. And for dessert, an AMAZING Lemon Cake with powdered sugar filled with cream in a pool of Yuzu Marmalade. So glad we saved room for dessert in the desert!
